What a gawd awful show. I don't think I can take more of this crap on SPEED. Who are the "All Stars" and why should I give them credibility?

Hopefully Car Science is better, but by the commercials it looks like all the stuff MythBusters has done. Looks Ike a fun show so far, but fun is as much as I'll give it.

Car Science was 50% useless garbage, 49% recycled stupid human tricks, and 1% actual science. I watched two episodes last night, because Iron Chef was a repeat. I won't be making that mistake again.

they were both pretty disappointing after the three weeks of hype. i'd rather watch almost anything else and definitely would love to see lemons and chumpcar races. just please when this series is dropped dont replace it with more BJ reruns!

horrible, horrible show. as soon as those berkeleytards started talking about how badly they needed the blown engine, i bailed. ugliest air induction scoop ever. if that's a central part of a build theme, i don't want my eyes exposed to the final product.

hey I just laugh when I read comment like you guys because I agree and that Fox Nascar channel for ya! along with their reality shows they cant show on Fox because THEY think it's car related Speed's not learning and I really do hope it goes down the crapper and we get a real channel.

I watched Car Science thru the opening credits and couldn't take it anymore. Horrible host/narrator. Mythbusters redo with a side of "Manswers". No thanks.

They have bullshart shows like this, reruns out the arse, and hours upon hours of NASCAR coverage now, they shunted ALMS off...it's horrible now. I mean other than F1, I think the only thing else I'll watch is Wind Tunnel....I mean honestly?? Yeah that's it. That's bad

This right here. I think I stopped watching after they stopped showing Victory By Design on a regular basis. SPEED SUCKS.

I miss that show!! Yes it does. I still think it's utterly hilarious that Speed didn't even show their OWN SPONSORED series

IRL and World Challenge- VS

ALMS, recaps- ABC, Live- online

WRC and some other races- seems HD Theater

I watched the Nurb 24 hour and the Bathurst 12 hour this year both online

The only reason Grand Am's on Speed is because it's owned by NASCAR and the reason F1 is still on is because their with Fox.

The funny thing is FIA GT is on Bloomburg TV!! of all places and supposedly throughout the season this year they're gonna show them and it's the best coverage. BOTH pre and post race, the FULL race with NO commercials and NO commentators

CW is just another (poor) car build challenge w/ a deadline, too much drama and some assembly required.

We don't need no more stinkin' drama.

Haven't seen this one, but Desert Car Kings is so poorly staged/scripted it's sad. And these 3-week "restorations"?! WTF?!

There used to be a show called Junkyard Wars that was pretty much what is proposed here.

Yup. Junkyard Wars. Started as a British import, then got produced in the USA,--one of the hosts is now on the Food Channel! Balding, blondish-headed guy. It was fun to see what they would come up with. And yes, Speed is good for F1, but it's going downhill pretty quick--and they don't sponsor World Challenge anymore, so no pressing need to air it.

what takes the cake for me is how horribly all these shows do their product placement.

its either too little or ridiculously overhyped and campy.

Stacey David does it closest to right imo.

Eric, here's a link to Bloomberg's programming schedule: http://www.bloomberg.com/tv/ It's not a user-friendly page but it can be useful.

IIRC, the FIA GT broadcasts were tape-delayed and shown a week or so after the events were run. Don't remember commercial but they definitely had commentary; the coverage was really good.

Pinks All Out was finally cancelled by Speed. I liked the variety of grassroots cars especially the old iron. I thought the close competition good too but the host ruined it for me w/ his micro-management and python arm drops.
