I want to ask the almighty GRM brain trust, now that I have a few boxes of leftover interior parts from my Jetta that will eventually make it to a challenge some day, what do I do? The random stuff, like BLACK b-pillars are worth a couple bones, but I have to imagine the random crap, like that weird molded carpet that goes under the dash between the knee bar and the the floor to cover the heating, is worth nothing, right? Do you pitch this or try to sell it in a futile attempt to reduce your budget?
I store it for several years until it piles up so big that there's no more room to work in the garage, and then I throw it all out in a fit of cleaning so I can start all over again.

If you sell it after storing it there will be a few owners of ancient Jettas looking for these oddball parts. Right now I need a driver's side sunshade, passenger side upper seatbelt mount point cover, and at least 2 rear seat mount point covers for my 'rolla. I need a new rear deck too but those were made out of compressed cardboard or some crap and you have the break them to get to the rear shock towers, so I'll fab one out of balsa.

Sadly, this is my M.O. as well. I have a huge pile of stuff that needs to go on ebay. I'll
start tomorrow....
I could build an S10 and a Mustang from the inside out.
Sold some of the good parts on forums and swapped even more.
