I was flipping through used car ads on autotrader.com last night and came across a BMW X5 and I was curious what the interior was like compared to the other things I've been looking at. They had this great close up of the radio display, but they probably should have changed the channel or waited until the Surfers were finished:

Another thing to file under First World Problems.
Surfing the dial. It is a German car though.
I blew air out of my nose forcefully.
Huh. I thought the joke about BMWs was that the PRICK was on the inside.
X5s are actually kinda nice but I think your only engines are the 4.4 V8 that requires the heads to be yanked every 80-100k to have the air injection passages rodded out, or the Diesel, which actually isn't that bad as long as you don't have emissions testing in your area. We have a customer with one and there is some sort of bug in the software where the emissions monitors won't all run in normal driving, so every two years it is a hassle to get an emissions test.
(the episode where Knurled praised a Diesel over a gasoline V8. Mark the date.)
it's cool that Gibby's band is in a BMW ad, but it makes me sad that radios in cars look like that now... where are the knobs and buttons that you can easily find without taking your eyes off the road?
