I will be in Cleveland on a business trip tonight, where can I get a good micro brew with supper? Anybody up to join me?

What corner of town is your meeting?

Great Lakes Brewery seems like the natural choice. It is on W. 25 th St which means it is 25 blocks west of Downtown.

If your going to be at The Main Cleveland Clinic then you'll be about E. 95th St or 95 block east of Downtown. That is about 15 minutes from Great Lakes Brewery.

I'll second Great Lakes. You probably won't do any better than that anywhere else.

If you're going to be on the east side, I'd recommend Willoughby Brewing

If I'm right, you may want to try the Winking Lizard. Its not a Brewery, but it does sell some of the local micro brews such as Thirsty Dog, which is also in Independence, but doesn't have a restaurant of their own.

Indepenence is the right place to stay. It is where all the business travelers stay. It is outside of the city and in the suburbs but only about a 10 minute drive back to downtown.

Forget the Lizard - try Slymans Tavern. It is where the Winking Lizard used to be. Great food, huge beer selection and the place opens up. http://slymanstavern.com/

also tonight is bike night down the hill at Quaker Steak & Lube. They get some big turnouts of all kinds of bikes.

sorry i didnt get your email sooner but didnt get home from work until 7ish.

The Lizard is OK, but I prefer ABC, Bier Market or Nano Brew on W 25th. You'll find all of the local brews between those places. ABC has pinball and a real bowling machine too!
