I found this in a box of stuff a while back and thought it interesting.

Did Lincoln give these out with a car purchase back in the day?  It has a sticker on the bottom "Made exclusively for Lincoln Continental"

Has anyone ever seen one of these?

Looks like someone took a hood ornament and made it into a trophy of sorts for good old Pauline.

Could have been something given to sales people as a reward for meeting quotas.

Berkeley! I had one of those! My dad was bats for Lincolns - He had a '64 Continental, a '66 Continental (which I think is where this thingy came from,) and then a long gap - '80 Mark VI Pucci edition (fun fact - it had '79 upper control arms on it from the factory - ask me how I know,) '88 Mark 7, '94 Continental, and finally a '97 Continental. Ugh.

The hood ornament plaque I inherited is tossed. Dad and I didn't see eye to eye.

I'm sure they were mass-produced to "honor" customers who bought cars routinely.

Edit: On second thought, maybe they were handed out to people who were "somebody." My dad was a "somebody" in the town at the time. Perhaps they thought word of mouth would pay off.

Perhaps Pauline was the inspiration for this?
