Round and round - you should see the corn I pickup at roadside stands as I travel making sales calls in Iowa, Illinois and Indiana.  Unbelievable.

Not only that, but neither rows nor rounds - randomly based on degree of roasting you're looking for in any given bite.

Rows, more efficient. Only have to shift your grip a few times instead of continuously. But, that's what works for me. I stopped using the little handles about the same time as learning to read.

Bites down the row, then you can pop the entire kernel off the next row and get all the cornmeat

It's surprisingly difficult to find a photo of a single, horizontal ear of corn.

I finally had to search "corn holders", and then scrolled way down to find that picture.

Should I feel bad for being a "cut the corn off the cob then eat it with a spoon" person?

Rows of course.  People that eat it in rounds put ketchup on hotdogs.

Grilled.  In the husk and foil.  2 large pats of butter.  No seasoning required.

When I was a kid the dentist hygienist asked me how often I flossed my teeth.

Every time I eat corn on the cob.  Wrong answer.

I do one orbit, about two bites in from the large end, then rows the rest of the way. Don't know why, but I've consistently done it that way for as long as I can remember.

My brother has become extremely wealthy, one cob of corn at a time. He has dozens of roadside drive throughs that appear every July. By mid September he is done work for the year.  It sells for $14.00 a dozen this year.
