I won't quote it. Read it on the site. My only comment is: Wow.

Some people say death be damned I'm doing whats right and death gives them a pass. This guy was one of them.
People of this caliber have every dram of respect I can muster. As if that matters, they serve a higher purpose.
At 6:53 pm on Tuesday evening, I sent a message to the Regimental Historian suggesting a possible (very minor) error in the transcription of Cpl Kelly's story. At 8:29 am on Wednesday, I got a message thanking me for my interest and undertaking to pull the audio file and check my idea. At 10:45 am the same morning, I got another message, thanking me again and saying that I was quite right and they would correct the online transcript as soon as they could.
Clearly, the US Army doesn't believe in letting the grass grow under its feet. I'm impressed.
Its a remarkable story. I suspect there are few like it from our current wars that we are not hearing about because it is so much easier to report about the Kardashians.
I am so glad I took the time to read the story, and appreciative that you posted it.
Goosebumps, chills, tears, and swelling pride of our American Soldiers
Maybe a mistake to have read this while sitting in an airport bar. Had to stop a couple times to get something out of my eye.
I'm late for memorial day, but thanks to all our troops who have gone into harms way on our behalf. Then a special thanks for the ones like this guy, who went into harms way to help those same troops.
Thanks for posting, that was incredible.
