At 5pm MDT, after 79 years of faithful service, my Dad's heart beat its last.
I'm really going to miss him, and to be honest, even though it was expected, I am still in shock.
Damn.

So sorry to see this. My dad has been gone nearly 20 years, and I still have moments where I think, "I need to tell Dad about this" or "Wow, I really need to call." I think all good dads leave that conversation open. Condolences on your loss.

My deepest sympathy to you and your family.
When you first resign yourself to it, it's still kind of academic. But when it actually happens it's still a shock.
My thoughts are with you.
My dad has been gone for years and I still find myself thinking once I awhile that I should call him about something I saw or did.
Very sorry for you and your family.
23 years since my dad left us, and I still talk to him when I'm working on something and get stuck. It still helps.
My condolensces are not enough, but they are all I have to offer.

So sorry to hear about your loosing your Dad today.
You'll be in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
When some of our other GRM brothers have suffered the loss of their father's, they've often shared a few cherished memories about them.
If and when you want to, we'd all be happy to hear about your Pop.
I can't add anything beyond what's already been said. So sorry. Hope you carry wonderful memories of him for the rest of your life.
Lost my mother 22 years ago at the age of 59. Memories still warm my heart.
