Again?! A few years ago it took police over two hours to wrangle a cow got that loose on the downtown connector.
Local report from here a few years ago about a man who hit an octopus and skidded into some penguins killing 2. (penguins that is)

I saw a baboon-like animal sitting on top of a parked work truck last weekend near Berkeley. It was lean, tallish and had long hair. I saw other cars stopping and I was wondering what the hell are they stopping for... OH, that. The only thing I can come up with to explain it is a line from an old movie where one sailor asked another why the captian had a monkey & he said it's because being captian is a lonely job.

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. -- Chopper 2 spotted a bison was spotted on Interstate 20 eastbound, just east of Columbia Drive. The buffalo appeared to be injured next to the HOV lane. Four left lanes of I-20 have been closed.

We get gators on the roads here, but that never gets on the news. Just no big deal. But with the rapidly increasing Python population, it's only a matter of time till one of those show up on I-95. That will be fun.
