Brilliant!

+1!

I'm guessing in a few years when the values of Excursions and Tahoes really hit rock-bottom.

i will say that derby have been hit hard right now, my brother is still into it and he has been having a lot of trouble finding cars and everyone dont want to sell it for some of the stuff io have found for him or they want lots of money for thier pos. i gave up due to the headache of finding a car and getting ready and some of the derbys around me have even seen the lack of cars showing up.

at the county fair in the late 90' when i ran we could see 200 cars on sunday, not the are lucky to get 40.

I think the final event of the GRM challenge should be a demo derby.

Dude, I believe "Handicapable African Americans" is the preferred nomenclature. Stop being so insensitive.

The local circle track here does one the last day of the season. It's an all day thing and they've come up with some pretty cool ways to smash up a bunch of cars. I've never been but I'm absolutely going this year.

Figure 8's where people crash aren't exciting. I've seen good cars torn up due to bad drivers. Figure 8's with good drivers, and no wrecks, are great.

Good figure 8 races are amazing...have to be REAL interesting the first few times you do it as a driver... It really is amazing to see how good those guys can be at threading their cars through cross traffic.

Newer cars may crumple too fast when put against the old ones... but if the old ones do run out they will just move on to everyone being in weaker cars, and the sport will adapt.

If all else fails there will always be tractor demolition derbies
