I need to find a place to eat dinner in Boston, probably near the seaport or maybe Fenway. Nice, but not too fancy.
Any suggestions?

Boston restaurants sort of fade and re-spawn every 5 years, except for the North End and chain restaurants... but In the Fenway area, I really like Audubon and Sweet Cheeks (BBQ). Sol Azteca is a great, trendy mexican spot worth checking out too.
Waterfront/seaport has changed so much, the only place I know that's any good down there is Row 34. Everything else is gone, rebranded, or turned into luxury apartments :/

My SIL used to be a chef there... we loved the food there when she was there.
Twin petit filet mignon with a steamed lobster tail on the side.
My wife ordered lobster Mac and cheese, which turned out to be an entire full sized lobster, removed from the shell, and combined with some pasta and just the right amount of quality cheese, mixed and served in the original shell. Amazing.
I actually work in the Seaport, but I don't know if I can really recommend a place down here, because I'm not typically a fancy restaurant kind of guy. There are a few I've been to, like Davio's and Ocean Prime, and others people seem to like, like Strega. There's a bunch of stuff down here, but it seems to change every few months or so. Out of the ones above, I liked Ocean Prime probably the best. Had a client lunch there last year, and it was really good.
I got lazy and picked the first name that I recognized that was near a parking garage. It turned out to be a great choice though.
