Most TV ads in Australia have Australian accents doing the voiceover. There was the odd ad or two that had an American narrator (I think Rhino lining bed liners was one of them), but I tended to immediately zone out when these came on... Am I being racist??
I don't know about Oz, but I know that some truly surprisingly famous Americans do commercials in Japan.
