The phone is a Nexus 6 on an official and up to date build. I don't like messing with ROMs or rooting.
I've had a Sony Live View that was too flaky to be useful, and a Abacus Palm-based watch that wasn't connected enough to be really useful.
It looks like we're entering a time where these things might just make sense, and at around $150, they aren't super expensive.
Wants are to work around shortcomings of my factory car Bluetooth, which doesn't let me talk to Google Now. To improve across the room interactions with Google Now, and to let me leave my phone in my bag a little more. Music playback at the gym and while mowing. Oh, and I need to not lose the functionality of the Fitbit it'll replace.
Thinking about Moto360 or Zenwatch, as they are conventional looking, and about a hundred cheaper than the other normal looking watches.
Anyone have experience with these?
