I recently read the Art of Racing in the Rain as well. I then got my wife to read it by telling her it was a dog story.

When I took it back to the library I got them to put it in a special section of animal stories and it's gotten way more check outs than when they had it in the guys special section.

I saw that video a few years ago. I'm on some dog rescue lists and that was how it was passed to me. We get a few stories on those lists that ram home again and again the idea that dogs are much more loyal friends than most people.
