Having made the switch from my old screen to my real name, it can be nice. It just gets weird when a late forum member had the same name and is referred to as such.

I had to switch phones and in the process, I lost the text photos you sent me of the secret project.
Before the switch, I will admit I showed one to a guy who works for Summit Motorsports at "the show" . I gave him no location details other than "local" and GRM Challenge. He was quite stoked.

Personal, I liked the distinction of a last name in your previous version even if it was an abbreviation of your otherwise complex last name.
Maybe a separation would help like

I find it much more refreshing to blast someone a new a-hole and have them know full well who did it. My Twitter handle is my full name(@patguzowski), there are only two of us so they're going to know it was either me or my dad .
Plus when i signed up way back in the day Pat was taken by some weirdo with a flat black flamed turbo dodge, so i used my online name from everywhere else. Anymore this is the only place i go, so no need for continuity across the webs.

I don't know, I've been thinking its cool when people just call me Rev in real life, even with my name in my user name.
Granted I've been RevRico online for 12 years now, I've been ordained coming up on 13 years, and it's nice people at least pretend to recognize it.
Useless screen name trivia, before I became "revrico" I was known as "godless Sicilian", but back in those days TOTSE(temple of the screaming electron) was the "homepage of the internet" and Netflix didn't have 300k disc subscribers. That's also the last forum where I had a post count remotely close to my count here.
I've literally been using patgizz since the dawn of car forum time(1998) when i got my camaro and joined nastyz28.com. Which led to meeting Gimp, which led to "you should join GRM" which led to infamous builds and in turn to my goal to win the challenge.
I liked the old name, but will love you anyway.
