Liberia was founded on freedom, as a nation for freed slaves to return to Africa. Thanks to shows like Vice, I understand they are hyper patriotic towards America. They put country singers to shame.
No clue as to Myanmar.
Myanmar has supposedly gotten better since they changed the name from Burma Shave but the jingles aren't as catchy.
were there for christmas 1971 Bob Marley was the house, Beach Band, at the Playboy Club in Ora Cabessa, went for a week stayed for a month, can't go back. I'll try to remember most of it and write the story. A LOT of the story Involves adventures with Cars, There is a statue of Limitations right ? No one Died. Ovid and Flem may need to proof read it first.
It was a long time ago,45 years, but I always wanted to share so I will. don't hold your breath but in a week or so

My last inlaw's just flew down today, although I doubt the leave the resort. They go every year now in late February, early March.
Almost made it to the big time. Came to the US and did very well. Some say when he got some press he was already too old for the commercial sponsorship needed to step into WRC.

I was there 20 years ago on my honeymoon. Renting a car wasn't an option for my extreme poverty so we rented a 1980ish Honda Silverwing (500cc horizontaly oriented V-twin).
650cc if it was after 1983. Useless knowledge: I have it.

All in favor?
...
YES!
Oh hell yes
Was Amy there? ...
Err, my Amy was with me in Jamaica. I assure you all my Amy in no way resembles the infamous GRM referenced Amy or her offspring who I seem to recall was/is also Amy. It's my least favorite GRM meme/substitution/inside joke for that reason.
2600 mm is not 100", it is 102.4".

True, this one was an '81 I believe. I rode two up (blushing bride on the pillion seat) wearing rental, I'll fitting helmets all over. From Ocho Rios across to Kingston and back through the Blue Mountains. That was a VERY long day! I remember thinking several times that if I'd been in a car, we would have crashed but the small size and nimbleness of the bike was helpful.
The "road" through the Blue Mountains climbs up up up and gets smaller smaller smaller until, I swear this is true, we were riding on a riverbed of softball sized rocks. Then the road got gradually bigger and better coming down the other side.
At no point did I feel "unsafe" around the locals. There is a constant hustle with everyone trying to sell you something or con you out of a few bucks....but that's what you get in an impoverished third world country.
Also Huckleberry, much like a rental car is as good as any 4x4. A rental street bike does just fine duty as a dual sport.
