Excellent!

So, you got their offer letter, signed and sent it back, and they have officially acknowledged receipt of your acceptance? Be sure to have that in writing before resigning at the current place.
I would not submit resignation more than 2 weeks before the new job starts. Because if current employer walks you out, you will be without pay until the first pay cycle at the new place.

That's awesome! Massive congratulations.
I'd keep the news under your hat until about 21 March if I were you, unless you're contractually obligated to give more than 2 weeks' notice. And stop taking their calls as soon as the last paycheck clears.
Delighted to hear this! Now you can do some more "I am learning to be a patient person" practice until April 6th!
Has anybody at work asked why you're smiling?
Berking A! that is Awesome. I have been checking back every couple of days for an update. I was getting nervous.
Bravo!
Looking forward to the "Greener Grass" reports once you get settled! I hope it is all you dreamed it would be.

Haha, I actually got there, discussed a few small tidbits of grey-area, and they had the paperwork already drafted. We're good to go on that front.
I'm actually going to take a week off between jobs, so current date of resignation will be sometime the week of the 20th. No chance I give them the satisfaction of letting me go early. I have a contingency plan if that happens regardless though. I've been anticipating this day for a long time.

Trust me- any grass at all will be better than the barren dirt wasteland that I'm sitting on now :p
And thanks for the kind words and support. Once it gets closer, I'll share the venture with you all. It is relevant to some local peoples' interests on here, I'd imagine.
I mean, yeah. We all knew you were gonna get it.
Seriously man, that is fantastic news! We're all psyched for you.
Great news! It could only be a happier ending if two lightning bolts turned those pickup trucks extra crispy
Congratulations..
On a slightly related topic, some places are now requiring 4 weeks notice instead of the usual 2 weeks if you are going to be moving on..

Hard to enforce, unless there is a penalty and it was stipulated when you signed the contract. In a right to work state it would likely be impossible to enforce.
Glad it worked out. Like others have said, going everyday to a job you hate or even dislike is soul killing.
