Have you tried screaming at her then doing a huge burnout in the driveway?

nicksta43 wrote: LOL, our parking lot is gravel so usually my arrival and departure looks something like a stage rally. It really helped that it was raining because usually my poor little 100hp's are barely enough to chirp the tires.
Oh I thought it was just me, I often powerslide into the office parking lot. I wonder if people think that means I'm enthusiastic about my job. That's actually the only opportunity I have to inject some fun into my work day.
That's usually how my mornings start out. Plus our driveway is gravel. So it's like the first part of the stage rally with a transitional stage in between

I LOL'd... At work... In front of e'r body. Thanks for that.
I just got a text from him saying he'd see me at the shop in the morning. Then he said the job I was running " looked good so far ".
Now I just have to wonder if he's just bringing me in to fire me in person

I'm guessing if you guys hang out outside of work enough to know that you get along fine outside of work...
That was probably just his way of saying "don't sweat it."
I would show up with a GREAT attitude. Apologize and then apologize again. Bring him a cup of Starbuxs.
I think you should do an extra big power slide into your parking spot at work in the morning with lots of gravel everywhere. Good luck!

Five minutes of anger, 24 hours of anguish.
Yep, that's how it usually works for me too.
You're probably good, but attitude in the morning will make it or break it.

Sounds to me like he's being cool about it. And, yes, a good boss shouldn't have let the situation get that far out of hand. And yes, you should come up with some better ways of expressing yourself.
Trust me, bossin' is harder than it looks.

It's a good thing I used the bathroom five or ten minutes ago, because otherwise I would have pissed myself laughing
Definitely apologize when you show up. And be in a good mood all day, even if you aren't. I've found that even with very insane people, apologizing usually gets everything (nearly) back to normal.
