I'm so confused by:
What you do.
How you could get angry enough to take it out on your boss.
The outside work relationship you have with your boss.

Hmmm...either he's at work and trying to be a good boy by not surfing GRM
or he got fired and lost the free internet use

Paul Sr. doesn't have gravel parking lots anymore. At least from what I can see on TV.

All good in the nieghborhood
I didn't bring donuts but did express how bad I felt for behaving like that. He made sure I understood what the point he was trying to get across was and I listened and agreed. Then it was back to buisness as usual (AKA power sliding around the parking lot).
Well that is good to hear.
Unfortunately, Brad is my boss and if I decide to act up, I can only do a burnout with my business loafers, then wait for an uncomfortable ride home with him (since we live together and carpool together). Not planning on getting in a cussing match any time soon

I am a supervisor for a construction company that specializes in foundation repair and waterproofing. I have been doing this since 98'.
He knows how to push my buttons. Basically a simple disagreement over how to handle a situation led to him making a statement which I took as a personal attack. It escalated quickly ( he is two weeks into trying to kick a three pack a day smoking habit ) and I lost the ability to make rational desicions.
At my last job he was my crew foreman. I worked with him for close to five years. I was stuck with him six to seven days a week 50 to 60 hours per week. We worked out of town alot so I spent more time with him than I did my family. It was more a lifestyle than a job. He was promoted to operations manager then he moved to another market. Something happened down there and he resigned. He then began working for the company we are at now and quickly became production manager. I was getting extremly burnt out working close to 70 hours a week for months on end without a day off. He called me out of the blue and offerd me a position with this company. Even though it was almost a 20k paycut I jumped at the chance to get myt life back.
Anyway we are like a team, he knows what I'm thinking and I know what he is thinking generally. We do work very well together. As long as I think of him as my boss and not my brother things go very smoothly.
I had just never gotten him as angry as I seen him yesterday. But it's all good now.

LOL, I work outside, all day. I've never been able to do anything at work besides..well you know...work
I only hope getting mad at someone yelling at them and doing donuts in their parking lot will become the GRM equivalent of Corner-Carvers bust into your house and knock down your christmas tree.
Congrats on the Non-fireing
