I admittedly did not see those. It doesn't super bother me, but then again, I'm the dude with the metallic purple rollbar on my car. I did like this line "Body’s pretty good lots of carbon fiber just needs a rear quarter panel from Simone backing into me in my driveway." Dammit, Simone, watch where you're going (I assume he meant "someone" and the autocorrect got him)
I'd guess he hit it with more than a 100 shot and had no spark control.
A 100 shot would not propel that fatty into the 11's.

Not just a 100 shot. It had a pulley, headers, exhaust, intake, tune, probably decatted and it made 650 at the wheels. Stock E55 AMG is 4300lbs. He says it has a tone of carbon fiber, no clue on driver weight, but say between weight loss and driver weight we'll call it a wash. If everything is perfect, 650hp and 4300lbs is good for 10.9s. So that 11.3 is not that implausible.

I didn't look at the pictures, but my guess is "a ton of carbon fiber" actually means "a lot of stick-on faux carbon fiber trim".

They typically run low 12s and in a few rare cases can run into the 11s completely stock:
Pretty sure that exact car sat on Indianapolis CL for awhile about a year ago. I know I've seen the lime accents before, and the color/wheel combo looks really familiar.

if dodgy had a smell.. this car has it.
I almost bought that car when it was for sale in Rockford 3 or 4 years ago. Glad I didnt.
E55 AMGs of that generation will do 11s. Mine did. Basically same mods as that one without the spray. Super easy to drive cars, excellent traction, super durable. I honestly sold it because it was too boring.
That being said those engines are pretty cheap used because they are so stout. If it didnt have body damage I would be tempted to go get it.
A lot of speculation here. I'm assuming the engine can handle the power, and it was probably tune related.

Your username describes perfectly what buyers should do when they see this car.

I don't actually see ANY carbon fiber, so I was giving the guy the benefit of the doubt and saying it had carbon hood or fenders that were painted over. I tend to play devil's advocate, for some reason.
These cars take to modifications very well.
The front lip might be carbon fiber....can’t really tell much by the pictures, but there are a lot of aftermarket carbon fiber parts available for these cars. I’d buy it for the right price...maybe I’ll shoot him an offer. I don’t like the green in the engine bay but that is easy to change.

Everyone else: This seems like a terrible idea
Cotton: I'm intrigued.
