Yeah, its going to be awhile before things get back to some resemblence of normal down here. Some places it'll take years. A few maybe never.
I got off relatively light. No damage and less than a day without power. My g/f is going on day three without power at home or at work. She won't stay at my house...

Saw the same thing here in Atlanta after Katrina. Lots of Louisiana plates. Ian's right..it depends on the rebuilding whether they'll ever be able to go home or not.
