New trailer and some writings have come out from the BBC about the new season of Top Gear. Well, Chris Evans is happily gone from the lineup, so it should be more watchable.
The new lineup is Chris Harris, Rory Reid, and Matt LeBlanc as the main attractions. They listened!

Yeah, Evans was publicly booted right after the last series. Glad to hear that it's Chris and Rory that got the permanent gig, though.
I just watched the new one with Clarkson and the guys on Amazon last weekend. It was great.
That trailer was hilarious. I can't wait for the new season. I like Rory and hope he brings a new dynamic, as he sees things through a younger generations set of eyes.
I tried watching TG last year.. didn't make it thru the first episode.. BBC America seems to agree with my assessment since they only ever show reruns of the "classic" TG that the world fell in love with.
The Grand Tour, however, is magnificent..
Man Chris Evans. He was uber popular in the 90s. Not sure if that schtick can last more than one decade.

I'm about at the end of the Grand Tour episodes. I'll either re-watch them, or give the new Top Gear a shot. I'm skipping the last Top Gear season, I can't stand that Chris Evans guy.
I do still enjoy his work as Captain America.

You have no idea how relieved I am that this isn't about Bob Evans and sausage gravy

I'm relieved its not about LGBTQ issues. Not sure who Evans is, but it sounds like most here are glad he is out. (No need to reply that he was some guy you didn't like on the new TG, I got that from the context clues, what I mean is that I've not watched the show, so have no concern one way or the other whether he is out or in.)

Thanks for chiming in then
Given how well the grand tour has gone, and how E36 M3 the post Clarkson hamond and may Top gear has been, I wonder just how badly the BBC executives are regretting their decision to sack Jeremy.
Personally, I feel it's only a matter of time before Top gear gets canned
Dear top gear,
When I said I wanted a loud ginger once a week, that wasn't what I meant.

I like having both. I didn't much care for Evans but I like the rest of the cast. I don't think top gear is going anywhere.
