The one thing harder to figure out than license plates are usernames

Frequently.

I also suck at Scrabble.

Years ago when vanity plates first became a thing, I worked with a guy who wanted to get his wife a set for her birthday. Her name was Penny. All of the first few obvious ways to get that name across were already taken, so this guy ended up applying for and getting a set that read "ONECNT". These plates either never made it on to her car or, only lasted a few days IIRC.

I had random letters/numbers and I couldn't remember my plates.  So I got this.  It's been 2 years and if anyone figures it out (not here) I'm giving them a cash prize.

Ohio allows ham operators to use their radio callsign as their license plate.

My stepfather would spend ages trying to figure out what they meant.

5.3L small block.  Do I get half of the cash prize?

For many years, my Impala SS had SNFONIA.  Anyone know that one?

Pretty sure no one here knows that I wanted to go to University of California Berkely.

Company name?

Nope.  Sinfonia didn't fit, so I dropped the first "I".  Does that help?  It's pretty obscure.

When my wife and I had twin white 1995 Neon sedans parked next to each other in the driveway, we had ALLYRBS and RBLNG2S.  Unfortunately, no pictures survived the death of my old hosting account.

Ever pass a car and can't figure out their custom plate?

I can't understand 99.99% of the custom plates I see so I just gave up on trying to figure them out.

All I can guess for the p-car is that the guy/gal's initials are ELR and the car is some sort of rare Pearl... so, ELR's Pearl maybe?

It's Earl's Pearl.

Trying to figure out what others are thinking is a great way to make yourself crazy. So, unless somebody can ask the guy directly and find out, that's good enough for me.

Wow, I thought this would be easier.  First result when I search is the answer.

Except that would be ERL, not ELR.

All the time. It's hard to communicate something in six or seven letters. For some reason I would like to get custom plates on everything.

The trans am is easy. On the e30 I want to get LQ9-T56 when the v8 goes in. I thought about some form of silver bullet but that's pretty cheesy. My offwhite s4 avant I tried condensing 'screamin semen' but it doesn't quite work. And my girlfriend drives it most often so that's weird.
