I can’t find any recent discussion on these. I need something to clean out the gutters, blow out the garage etc. probably run time of at least half hour. Looking to spent max of $200. Home Depot card waiting for use so anything from there would be best.
My nephew has an Ego blower that he likes but he recommends the 5.0Ah battery and that’s $350. Too much for me.

I have a DeWalt 20v. I love it. Not as powerful as gas, but it does what I need it to. Haven’t used my gas blower since.
$198 combo from Home Depot witha weedwhacker and Charger.

The Ego is a win.
I didn’t know there was an upgrade battery, so I must have the standard one. No issues.

I've had a 'WORX' blower for over a year, 20V model with a bunch of attachments. It works great around the garage/shop, driveway, and patio. It doesn't put out enough volume that I want to tackle a yard full of leaves. For the price, I'm really happy with it and it's held up well. looks like it's still under $100 with more accessories than I use.

Pretty good deal! What kind of run times do you get?
I just bought the Ryobi 40V last weekend to replace our crappy old black & decker. So far, so good, though I haven’t checked max run time. I think it was $150 with battery and charger, which I didn’t *need* but they didn’t have one without.
Oh and it has TUUUUURRRRBOOO button that makes teg BOOOOSTSSSS!

I have an EGO and it works great. I bought the trimmer as well so I have two batteries for it. If you stay off the turbo button the batter lasts for a decent amount of time. It has enough power to blow piles of wet leaves.

I only need about fifteen minutes between the blower and whacker. I use the same battery for both. I probably charge it after the third or fourth use.
The Troy Bilt is the best. We've had several different brands, just about every other one already mentioned in the thread, and the TB is the only one with the oomph of an electric plus a long battery life.
I probably wouldn't buy battery powered lawn equipment unless you were planning to move all of them that way.
That said, I'm very happy with Kobalt 80V mower and string trimmer I've had for 1.5 years.
My 10k sq-ft lot, the normal battery will do the entire yard. Since I have the trimmer as well, I have 3 batteries and two chargers, so never a problem.
I have the Ryobi blower and trimmer combo from HD and I love it!! No more cords, no more gas. It’s great for everyday cleanup, but I still use a gas blower for fall maple leaves.

Another satisfied Kobalt 80v owner here. This is my 4th season of use with the string trimmer, blower, and hedge trimmers. I've got lots of landscaping and a 3 acre lot, so they get used quite a bit. While I have no real complaints about any of them, the leaf blower rocks. It's got 3 settings, with the strongest setting rivaling any gas blower or backpack blower that I've ever used. It moves wet leaves just fine, and can even send some or my golf ball sized landscaping rocks out of the beds if I'm not careful. At the strongest setting, I get about 30 minutes of full blast run time. Battery fully charges in 30 minutes. I use it for everything.

Last year I wanted to try out electric yard tools. I bought Black & Decker 20V hedge trimmer and weed eater. Both items were in the $50 buck range from Amazon, and they are not bleeding edge at all. Turns out my ass is whipped before the trimmer needs a charge and it works as well as my gas one. The weed eater will go about 25 minutes, but I only need it like for 5. Absolutely loved my gas yard equipment, but it's electric from here on out.

I sell stihl products at work. I can't speak for the others (quite frankly I hear them all bad mouthed at one point or another) but the bga 56 rips pretty good. We use it to clean out the front of the store and otherwise cause mayhem when we should be working.

Same here. I have a 1/4 acre and can trim and blow on one battery. I have a 2 amp hour and a 2.5 amp hour battery.

I have the Milwaukee Fuel 18V blower and have been very impressed with it. I decided to go that direction since it uses the same batteries as my impact, drill, weedeater, and so on.

Seconded. I love my Ryobi 40V "Expand-It" system. I find the battery lasts longer for the trimmer than the blower.

Coppertired and I were just talking about the battery blowers and trimmers. He has been really happy with his 60V blower and thinks it has all the guts of the gas version.

I have a B&D line trimer and like it as well. I have 5 battery packs as I also have a B&D drill and bought 2 extra batteries some time back. I would not buy the leaf blower by B&D. I have gone through 2 of them and both motors wore out after two seasons of use.
