I was mostly thinking "standard Friday", but after two hours of swapping back and forth talking to equally aggravating human and recorded agents of Comcast/Xfinity about the fact that my business and home internet connections simultaneously went splat, I am really ready to be done with this week.
"Sorry, I can't tell you anything about the business account, because this is the home Internet department. Since we have no idea whether there is a general outage in your area, we'll give you three different options for swapping out for a new cable modem, each more absurdly awkward or expensive than the last. Sorry, because I can't acknowledge that other modem in any way, I'm incapable of grasping that two modems going dead simultaneously suggests that the issue is probably with the cable which feeds them both."
