So, The contractors are pouring a new slab soon (no kidding), and they needed the front yard flat, instead of full of dirt piles.
Long story short: The guy said he would be happy to let us have a go at it with the gigantic tractor diggy shovely thing, dropped it off, and will be back monday. Consequently, I spent a lot of today playing with a big tractor. I think I might have had a little too much fun for it being work. I couldn't get it stuck, even though I tried. ![](/media/img/icons/smilies/evil-18.png)

A concrete slab is being poured but the FRONT yard needs to be flat. Whassup?
I just hope I don't end up three feet under because of my comment in the ettiquette post. ![](/media/img/icons/smilies/crazy-18.png)
I think I'm going to need one of those when I get my ranch, I mean there has to be a "road" around the property![](/media/img/icons/smilies/cool-18.png)

I have a 58 Ford farm tractor. Looks like a Jubilee model. Its all origina; and the hydraulics suck. They wont lift much weight and they bleed down, Plus they have no down pressure for digging. It is great for "harvesting" fire wood.
