Saw that when it came out in the theatre. Even as a 13 year old I thought it was so bad it was funny

The Fast and The Furious (1955)
Forget the plot. Watch the sports cars and road racing.

This. So awful, yet fun/entertaining.
Tokyo Drift is still a favorite of mine. And the next 2 movies got my theater money. 6-8 are finally awful enough I can't stand them, and I've given up and won't go see 9.

They are all so comically bad it provides for great entertainment. If you listen to How Did This Get Made, you get extra mileage for your $, because the F&F episodes are fantastic.

The first one has so much unintentional comedy, it's like a car guy Plan 9 from Outer Space.
Agreed. It's aged like a nice boones farm. No one will admit to it, but everyone is guilty.
Tokyo drift. I love the Monte Carlo and the mustang, car culture was in a weird place when that movie came out.
a lot of two lane blacktop mentions but I love that movie.
ever seen the junk man? I think was the name, came out around the same time as the original gone in 60 seconds
Another vote for Tokyo Drift. Its so bad that its good.
Driven gets another vote. Stallone as a race car driver? Yeaaaaah
What about the original Gone in 60 Seconds? Bad acting and a boring plot peppered with some cool chase scenes.
EDIT: dropstep types faster than I can
I'm not sure I can be friends with some of you people.... Apparently I have bad taste, so many favorites getting nominated here.
Now to really alienate myself.... Mad max..... Classic, sure. Cool cars, sure. Great movies....... Not so much
Can we add trucks? It's bad that you laugh. He has a weight/pulley in his truck so he can drive/train for arm wrestling.

Pretty sure the Junk Man movie was made by the same guy that did the original Gone In 60 Seconds.
Story of the original GI60S is pretty cool. Lots of guerrilla filming and convincing people that he could film when he didn't have any permits

Toby Halicki produced, wrote, raised money for and drove in every single low budget feature film he ever made, sometimes without telling the local police or anybody else in the city that he was filming. He died making his last feature film when a water tower he blew up came down on top of him. There is nobody in Hollywood like him today. He is a legend. I would recommend watching the DVD about his life if you can find it.
Most of the ones I would think of have already been posted, but here's an obscure one for you guys.
Yup, it's awful. Yup, the physics is so far off the reservation it's not even funny. (I had a good laugh at sublimation injector) but I can't help myself for liking it.
Good luck finding it!
Billy Zane, lol
In reply to Mr_Asa :
Yup junkman was the same guy. Like that movie as it's about the only film you can see a bricklin in (brother briefly had one) I think it had a Guinness record for most cars, trucks, boats, trailers, planes, etc destroyed in a movie. Lots of yuks.
Here's the whole thing on YouTube
There's even Citroen content!
Honestly, it's possibly a better movie than gone in 60 seconds. But the chase in gone in 60 is a bit better.
In reply to Datsun310Guy :
Unsure if you're trying to show me how bad or how awesome the movie is.... I'm just going to run with awesome.

Finding it?? I have the DVD on my shelf. It's part of my collection.
Remember the garage band scene?
I haven't seen it in a decade, but I still remember it. I would so love a copy of that
Maybe we can figure out some trade?
Don't forget Cobra. The movie is total 80s cheesiness but I've lusted after the Merc since the day I first saw it.

Also $8.99 on FleaBay. They have more than one.
Wow, ordered.
I looked for it about 8 years ago and couldn't find it anywhere! At the very least, no torrents, lol
