First of all, die hard is not a Christmas movie. I agree that Will Ferrell is horrid, I can't stand him.
Christmas Vacation is the classic of all classics

You know, there's a scene in her moms house where she's on the phone and George is close to her - I gotta admit she looks really good......

A few years ago, we saw it in the theater. It was like being 7 again. :)
THEATER?!?!
Lucky bastard.
Muppets Christmas Carol is a classic. I'm going to bend the rules a bit but all the Simpsons Christmas episodes over the years.
Watching Encanto right now. Not sure what will be on the viewing docket tonight.

I’ve got to agree with Wally on White Christmas. Over produced, corny as heck but I really enjoy it every time we watch. Also, Rosemary Clooney was a babe!

Yes! I know, right? It was a one-time special showing. This was maybe three or four years ago.
And how can Die Hard not be a Christmas movie? After overcoming some obstacles, Mom and Dad get back together just in time for Christmas.
In reply to David S. Wallens :
Its not a Christmas movie? They play RunDMC's "Christmas in Hollis." End of argument.
In reply to 11GTCS :
Sometimes overproduced is perfect. Bing Crosby is Christmas. A few years ago Xm had a channel that was all his old Christmas Radio shows. It was the most Christmasy Christmas possible

I bought this on DVD after the divorce because I never got to watch it during the holiday, too much driving around. Then I found "Roadtrip for Ralphie" which is a documentary a Canadian couple made running around finding locations and props. Then I went to the actual house and museum in Cleveland to buy a leg lamp. Then I went back with my Red Ryder for photos in the backyard when they said the first time I could have brought it.
My dad gave me my BB gun almost exactly how Ralphie got his, except this was 1977, like 7-8 years before the movie.
(I forgot about Better Off Dead. Love it.)

MacLaine (McLane? McClaine? ... ) crawls through a ventilation duct to deliver presents... that is kind of like going through a chimney, right?
In reply to Jerry :
We stopped at the Christmas story house a few years ago. We regretted not making reservations to spend the night. It's not my favorite Christmas movie but it's hard not to get caught up in the fun there. We spent an ungodly amount in the gift shop for pretty much everyone we know
