I still contend that when Cleveland decided to drop the name Indians they should have chosen a name that paid homage to Cleveland's highly industrial waterfront and its rich maritime history.  A history including steam ships

The Cleveland Steamers.  

Add in a Philly fanatic style mascot known as The Duece, wearing jersey #2.

I have been aware of The Savana Bananas for years now with their "Harlem Globetrotter's" style of baseball.  I did not realize how big they have gotten, now expanding to 4 teams.  Selling out Pro Stadiums across the nation!  

When the Expos moved to Washington there was a small push to rename the class a team in Vermont the Locals.

A friend of mine's father was the GM of the Mud Hens for 20 years. He was the connection to Jamie Farr and getting the jersey for "Klinger" to wear.
