There was a story on the local news that his family had just sacrificed a lamb because he lived through another close call. They couldn't believe God chose to take him in such a spectacular manner. I guess they never learned what my dad told me when I was a kid and asked why God would let something happen. If you want to do a lot of stupid things God's plan for your life could become to be a example for others.

Been discussed in the Darwin thread on another forum I visit.
i read an updated article about this... apparently, the lamb that the family sacrificed 5 days before this crash to help him get past some medical issues and protect him didn't work..
it really didn't work...
maybe they should have stepped up to a goat or something? i don't know how their religion works..
also, it said that he was an "automotive enthusiast" (their words, not mine- and i always hear that phrase in Jeremy Clarkson's voice for some reason) and that he had aftermarket safety harnesses in it which he always wore... wonder if he forgot to put big washers on the mounting locations and they just tore out thru the floor?

Actually, if you're wearing gear, you'll usually be better off(I just went through this one 2mo ago)......it's sudden stops that kill more often than not.
