Every summer my dad and I take in a few races and try to see something different. He told me today he'd like to find wingless midgets on pavement. I hit the google but I can't find them anywhere in the northeast. Anyone know where I may find some?

Good idea. Right now I just keep getting For Hire companionship and a little guy that we could bowl with if my driveway was paved.

Weird, every midget I've seen has been without wing, all the pictures on the NEMA page have wings???
My first thought was:
Which given your earlier interest in a wheelchair orgy thinks you may have a veeerrrry interesting browser history.
In reply to 914Driver: As much as I like going there my father won't go back. It was way to dusty the last couple times we went.
I did a quick search and couldn't find a current schedule, but the Ford Focus Midget series races on pavement without wings. http://www.focusmidgetresource.com/ Looks like NEMA is your best shot. Not sure what the NEMA lites are, so that might be what you're looking for.

Those were in PA and NY earlier this year but the schedule looks to have them in the midwest for the rest of the season.
We saw the NEMA midgets last year at Waterford along with vintage Modifieds. Mr Crankypants liked the mods except for that they allowed those "modern" Cavalier bodies to run but complained that midgets shouldn't have wings.
