Aw, I'm blushing.
I thought you guys might have been a little hard on the troll. But I am fully on board with calling him a troll now.
In reply to mad_machine:
Well, he had troll all over my sorry ass before I was convinced. Guy has nothing to learn from anyone. I guess he just gets on the internet to spread all his intelligence due to a magnanimous nature.

I still don't understand how posting a lot and having opinions makes someone a troll. Maybe he's a bit of a dick sometimes, but so are a lot of folks on here that aren't being called trolls. He's been more respectful to those who disagree with him than several long-time posters I can think of.

I don't think I would use that as a definition. I would go more with:
Someone who post with the intention of inciting discord.
Example topics:
"The Miata is Overrated"
"The Porsche Panamera is a beautiful car"
"Harbor Freight tools have no place in anyone's garage"
"SUV's do not suck"
I'm still a regularly poster on GRM because of the education I get here. I now know far more than I want to about many things I would have never been exposed to had I not been a member on GRM Forums for nearly 10 years. I myself am guilty of many a train derailed, floundered, and hijack, but most of the time people just ignore what I say.

By this standard, anyone not in lockstep with the "correct" way of thinking will be labeled a troll for voicing his opinion. I for one can find at least a little truth in all of the above statements (well, except for that last one), and you'd hardly consider me a troll.
I'm replying to 1988RedT2, but not pushing the reply button because I'm trying to swear off my trolling habits.

Most of us would probably say the same thing.

In reply to PHeller:
You have been here long enough to know there is a different place for ignoring.

That was a joke son, here is another troll example for you:

You started it.
P.S. I think you should kill it, too.
