This is one of those kind of videos. Largest non-nuclear explosion I've ever seen.

That looks like when the rocket fuel factory in the Nevada desert blew up. Only bigger and in a populated area
Reminded me of a bigger version of this:

Which is what I made my guess from.

Think bigger, Texas City Explosion
The fire and subsequent explosion seems consistent with an ammonium nitrate(an agricultural fertilizer) explosion. We recently saw what a pathetic little 200 ton blast looked like 2 years ago in West, Texas......
In reply to foxtrapper:
light it up, burn it up, flame on, til that jerry-curl is gone

BBG said: An official Chinese seismic agency said the force of the first explosion was equivalent to three tons of TNT, the second was 21 tons.
That's one heck of a firework!
I can't find the link now, but I watched a phone video of it yesterday that was pretty close to the fire when the big blast happened. There was a little boom, then the big flash of light and the very last thing you saw in the video was huge pieces of a wall coming at the camera at a very rapid pace. It gave me chills, because I probably just watched the final moments of someone's life
Sad that this was in a populated area, but fortunate it was out in the industrial sector.

I think this is the link you're talking about
It's SFW, but scary. It happens quick, but you can reduce the speed to .25 in the lower right hand corner to see the shockwave travel right at the camera.

Reports this morning are saying at least 50 dead, hundreds injured and more than 3,500 homeless. Bad day for many people.
