Every now and then I want to see the activity of a given user, to see what their up to, for example.
Or with the passing of a user, I want to see what their last post was about.
Could GRM staff add a "show recent posts" but not show the entire thread....just the individual post that user made?
This would also help users track down posts accidentally posted in the wrong thread, if the thread title is displayed along with the post.
It'd be even greater to have a thread started by user list.
Can we fix embedding videos first?
I'm voting against this concept.
If, for some reason I'll never understand, one of you wanted to scrape together all the stupid crap I've said on here over the years, I'd want you to have to at least work for it.

Click on a profile picture to go to profile, click on View Posts?
You need to find a post from them first of course.

If that works anything like the Your Posts link, it shows the most recently active threads that the user EVER posted in, even if the user posted in it only once years ago. It’s not particularly keyed to individual posts.
I always wanted to be able to segregate my posts on the Rant thread. If only to track my slow decent into oblivion.
I use the posts a member made feature on other forums all the time. It's useful to find out if they're an idiot or perhaps just what kind of car they're talking about while assuming everyone on the forum already knows what car they have. More and more frequently on this forum the regulars omit information in initial thread posts because they take for granted we know what vehicle they're referring to because of other threads. So they only get answers from the other regulars who actually DO know what vehicle they have.

Yeah, I'd really rather be able to embed videos first

Thanks for the support on this on folks.
Yes I understand it could be used for stalking purposes, but honestly, that would keep some of us from staying stupid stuff.
I know occasionally I'll go back and look at my comments from long ago and say to myself "why did I say that in a public forum?" *delete*
So yes, I'd like the feature.

I'm with this guy. What assurance do we have that such a feature would be used only for good and never for evil?
Also, I'd like to point out that without all the stupid stuff posted here, the forum would be a lot less interesting to read.
Of course we'd use it for evil. Look what we did to that poor bastard with the Hotlink Thread
Speaking of members. what happened to dilysi Dave? And who was the person that made the award winning liquor?
