This game is amazing! The physics are better, I loooooooooooove playing with the in car views. The tracks are great, look great and dont get me started on the cars. They now have all the generations of miatas, THE ORIGINAL rabit, quattro, m3, MKIII Supra (talk about obscure), 510! They now have trucks, drag (fun but who cares), more in depth drift (fun but who cares)....

Im rocking my old miata now and made it how it should have been down to the exact parts. Its a blast!

First time posting here, Hi. Does anyone feel that the games R compound tires don't stick that well? The quarter mile times are laughable, I bought the LS1 TA and was just seeing what times I could get. I had the widest R compound tires you can get on the back with the front stock. I got the race swaybars and set the front all the way down. I also got a race transmission and put 4.10s for the final drive. What did I run? I ran a laughable 14.2...

Bone freaking stock M6 TAs have broke into the high 12s with a really good driver. I usually get around a 13.1 in my 2000 TA (LS6 intake, mid length headers, true duals w/X pipe, 4.10s, Spohn LCA, Subframes, Panhard bar, QA1 coilovers front and back.) I should be in the 12s already but you know how traction and 10 bolts go... at least my car isn't as slow as this game portrays it to be.

I'd be interested to see if all cars have such poor 1/4 performance or just certain cars that were not deemed cool enough to get all the tweaking of realism.

Forza 2 was the only reason I wanted to buy the Xbox360. It didn't happen until Xbox teamed up with Netflix. I got my racing, my wife got streaming movies. Win/Win.

The one thing is that the weights seem to be off on some cars. I'm sorry but a 3rd gen Camaro did not weigh in at 3650 lbs.

Now, do they have an add rust feature? Peeling paint would also be good.

In these games you can always tell what the dev's favorite cars were, and what car myths they heard. American cars are always slower then their real life counterparts in these games.

On the plus side, F3 seems to have the least of that of any of the sim games I've played (Since GT2)

Are any of you guys using a wheel and pedal setup on the Xbox 360? Is there a 900 degree wheel thats compatible with it?

The only wheel I've heard that has 900 degrees is the fanatec one...

I'm just using the controller. I don't want to spend the money for the wheel. Although steering and braking is twitchier and upsets the balance of the car when using the controller.

If I am going to go to the expence of buying an Xbox getting a wheel is not that much more...

If the only 900 degree wheel availible is the insanly expensive fanatec one, how do the cheaper ones do with this game?

I think the fanatec wheel is the only one with a clutch pedal. Forza 3 supports this. I think that alone makes it worth it.

Does anyone else sense that the traction limit is a lot more progressive this time? It seems that I can push the cars harder and still catch them this time. I have a Microsoft wheel but I am using the controller, that's how bad it is, don't get it. Maybe a Fanatec one day but that's enough bones for a lot of real car parts.

Pros: More tracks and more cars (GT5 is still going to eat its lunch in this department)

Graphics are improved a surprising amount over FM2, some tracks are better than others.

User interface is well laid out and easy to navigate.

Tuning system is still the best there is.

Cons: Many duplicate cars, and many omissions. Wheres the MK1 MR2 or a Mits. Starion, or any other car that has a following? This would be a great way they could have set themselves apart from GT by focusing on more obscure cars. Theres plenty of cars like that I will probably never actually own but would love to tune and play with in the game.

Someone needs to start a spec series, like a spec Datsun 510 series or something

Maybe we could get a petition going and send it to Turn10 for some downloadable cars. I'd like to see a B13 SE-R and a 1Gb DSM. Anyone else?
