sale ad just came in at work. Lots of cheap tool sets. 10$ 3/8 and 1/4 drive socket sets with ratchet, saw and metric. Cheap driver bit sets. This is the coupe de grace though- this set is normally like 240$. Down to 119$ on sale, plus another 20$ off for Ace rewards. If you're just starting your tools over, have someone on your list that needs em, or want a reasonably priced trackside set- I don't think you're getting cheaper. And as always, Craftsman's lifetime warranty means everything is an impact socket!
Disclaimer- I get absolutely nothing from this. Yes, I work for Ace. I do not work on commission, I do not get spifs, I just wanna pass on cheap a$$ tools.

Thanks, I may take advantage of this. I'm an Ace rewards member. Is the extra $20 a coupon that would have been mailed or do I just need to give them my phone number?

Give em your phone number. I bought mine and it came out to 108.99 with tax- they tax on the 120 and it was another 20$ off once it was totalled.

WoW.
When I was buying my first complete Craftsman tool set back in the early '90s, $1/per piece was considered a good price. Ths is a phenomenal deal.

Stanley is pushing really hard to reposition Craftsman where it used to be- and they're throwing out the deals to get them in peoples hands.
Man I need to find an ace near me

Do you guys sell any Craftsman impact sockets? I couldn't find any online.
Thanks for the heads up. I need a few tools so this comes in handy.

DeWalt owns both the Stanley name and Craftsman

Stanley owns everyone. The only stuff I sell that isn't Stanley is Milwaukee.
Dewalt is a subsidiary of Stanley. Black and Decker owned Dewalt and then Stanley bought Black and Decker. Now Stanley is called "Stanley Black and Decker, Inc."

that's a good driver set for the $. we are lucky to have a great ace in our neighborhood and support them whenever we can. if you're a rewards member, you get a couple $5 off 25/30 coupons every month, and they rarely even sniff at expired ones.
Thanks for the heads up, I'll stop by in my way home from work today

Add Heli-Coil to the Stanley group
The HF brands are missing at least a few (there are a lot), most notably Icon, which is an almost an exact copy of Snap On (way cheaper of course).
Not my pic and it is probably a few years old.
It is also important to NOT make the assumption that all brands under one parent company are of the same quality. Sure some are made in the same building, with the same tooling by the same workers (some particular snapon and williams for instance) others are made in different countries with no crossover.

What he said. Tell the nice cashier you'd like to sign up for ace rewards. If they're worth half their weight in ace vests, they should ask you if you are a member, and if you are not, if you'd like to sign up. It's REALLY simple, and totally free. And you get coupons!
