My rental car while the Kia is in for a recall. It is way too big, way too thirsty, way too expensive and completely over-the-top as a daily driver. Man do I want one. Heated seats and steering wheel? I could get used to that.

Compared to a Kia, it is all that and a Sam's Club sized bag of chips.
Its just a novelty for now. If you had to DD it, you would probably start to dislike it. 
I had the same experience a month or so ago renting a brand new Ford Expedition on a trip for work. I'll rent one again, LOVED it. Enormous, comfy, quiet, great heated seats...but the $80 tank of gas would get old in a hurry.
When work's picking up the tab, though, I'll probably rent another one. :)
My brother has a Suburban. I've hated the very idea of them for most of my life. But, damn, is that thing comfortable.

Lol-My '03 Chevy Express 2500 has me searching for gas pumps that will allow me to fill the whole tank without restarting. The best one I have found stops automatically at $115. 33 gallon tank is a bear.
I daily drive a 2002 F250 Powerstroke FX4 Lariat Crew Cab. Fuel prices be damned, that thing is comfy! I will never go back to a small, underpowered car for a daily.

I filled up with E85 for $3.05 a gallon. So I saved $.50 per gallon, but 15 gallons lasted 24 hours. Ugh.
Did I mention the backup camera and parking sensors? The three row seating with more room in left in the back than a minivan?
And now the appeal of thyroidial SUVs to the average car buyer starts to come into focus...
I never thought I would enjoy driving a vehicle as big as my Express van (2' longer than an '05 Suburban) but its actually quite amusing. It's plenty quick with the 6.0, it hauls a million pounds inside, it has huge brakes and a really stiff suspension so the stopping and cornering are fine. The combination of those make it pretty fun to get around in. It is kind of like piloting a big high performance boat.
