Say hello to Frank and Finn. Frank is a fluffy 20 pounder, I think he might be a Norwegian forest cat. Finn is a recent rescue, we went to donate some things to the local shelter and came home with a new friend.

Nah, they come like that sometimes
In other news, Shadow photo bombed my latest model shoot:
Must not be a good one because she didn't even try to bat it off the wall.

Cheese has the feline coronavirus (FIPV), developing into the wet form.
He has a chance, but it is not a very good outlook. The kids are devestated.
I'm so sorry to hear that. I'll keep fingers crossed for Cheese.
At least it's not typically contagious after infection, so you don't have to worry about the other cats as well. It's a pretty dim bright side, but one nonetheless.
On our end, we lost old lady Sadie in early November. She just ran out of cat and passed on in Janel's arms. She'd been out for a walk the day before. Not a bad way to go but rough on Janel. So I feel for you. It's hard to see them go whether they're new members of the family or have been around forever.
Little Lewis Hamilton has been keeping us occupied. He is a caricature of a kitten and a complete nutcase. In the last couple of days, he's figured out how to turn on the Roomba for his own entertainment. He's run it four times today. He also helped with tree decoration over the holidays.

Cheese passed to the great tuna in the sky last night. He dines in the halls of Valhalla with Einstein, Nibbler, Porshae, Dude, Calvin, Tiger, Shakey, and so many others to go before him. His time was tragically shor,t yet well lived and well loved. We will all miss him dearly. This hurts so much more because of our kids.

"So long and thanks for all the fish" is about exactly what he would say. He would always store his toy fish in the water dish.

You have to admit that's a logical place to keep a fish. Smart kitten.
Got bit and got a kitten. house is now full and happy again with a even number of cats.
Meet Haku. Scottish fold, Maine coon Mix.
Keith Tanner said:Now that is an interesting combo.
He is one of maybe 3-4 or so that I have ever even heard of that kept the bent ears. Breeder friend had a 6 month of Scottish mate with a 9 month old male Maine Coon and well this happened.Six kittens only three with folded ears. They kept the two girls.
I think he will look like this with the blue ghost coat instead or read
