I teach high school shop.
Often kids come to me unable to find something. Usually I respond with "What happens if I find it, knowing, of course, that my favourite candy bar is an Eat More?"
On occasion, the kid follows through with buying me an Eat More.
Today, a kid couldn't find the torque specs for the engine he is rebuilding.
Him: "I can't find it."
Me: "You've looked?"
Him: "It's not there."
Me: "You willing to stake you life on it? Are you willing to stake your soul on it? So I find it, and I get to keep your soul. Deal?"
Him: (hesitantly) "Um, ok....."
Me: "Here it is. Found it. 18-24ft-lbs. Bummer about your soul dude."

I dont think minors cant legaly enter into a contract without parrental consent so your agreement may be void if its taken to court...i think. Any lawyers here?
The age of consent on mystical and the netherworld is 13, that is why Harry Potter can be a wizard... duh!
so, how much hp is a soul worth?

Do you do anything with it or just put it in that drawer with the superballs and comic books and almost every Circle Track Magazine my father bought between 1984 and 1989

Not sure about that, but I remember Milhouse trading Bart's soul for some pogs.
I wonder how much hp a pog is worth.

It can vary from state to state, but the general rule is that a contract entered into by a minor is voidable (not void) unless it is for necessaries (food, shelter, clothing, etc.).

Yeah, but Skinny G is a Canukistanian, and I saw this on an episode of Corner Gas about knuckles and a hockey card. I think he gets to keep it
Wow. I've never even heard of an Eat More.
well, for the minor to void the contract, he does have to return whatever is left of what he recieved in the exchange under the contract.
so how do you give back knowledge?

Show him where the information is. Then either drop a big THC pill, or hit himself in the head with a brick.
Or you could use one of those Neuralizer (sp?) things from Men In Black.
Dead Like Me is the greatest show ever made that most people have never heard of. Love that show. Reaper is just a sorry pretender.
