25 ft, my basment is 26x66
Hmmm ... plenty of room for a 50' range ... I used to have a (barely) 10m airgun range in my garage. I miss that garage.
BTW, it sounds like we have some more Ithaca M49 single-shot Saddlegun owners in here! I do like that exposed hammer, sorta-martini action.

Ruger single six
Single six's are great. It has a seperate cylander for .22 short/long/long rifle and one for .22 magnum. The magnum case is actually bigger around than the rest of them.

I have a catch can of sorts in my bathroom two. Sometime I subject it large caliber weapons.....oh the smell.
There's some import single action 6's with two cylinders, one 22 mag the other 22 anything else as well as the Ruger, but the Ruger would be the best choice.
Yeah EAA (a German manufacture) has one in their Bounty Hunter line. I have one of their .45LC Bounty Hunters and its a great gun very solid and beefy frame, I would say only outdone by the Ruger wheel guns.
Here is my .45LC

That's the one I use, too. The only downside is that the old lead gets kicked up and out a little as the new stuff goes in, so you have to empty it pretty often.
And I'll second the need for good ventilation.
rebelgtp wrote: I went to my local Walmart looking for some CCI CB longs and they only had the shorts. I still got a box just to have fun with and see how loud it is out of this lil bolt. I was told It basically will just be the sound of the hammer hitting and then a thump from the bullet hitting its target.
I shoot a lot of CB Longs, too. They'll be a little louder than what you were told, but not much.
But, that's exactly what it sounds like when you shoot the Super Colibris.
Hmmm I might have to get me one of those traps for out in my garage.
Woody yeah I tried the CB shorts and there was a fairly good little crack but far quieter than any of the other .22 rounds I have shot.
The loudness of the CB Longs depends on the length of your barrel. If you have an old bolt action rifle with a really long barrel (by modern standards), the pop is all gone by the time the bullet leaves the barrel. In a handgun, it will still make a little noise. An 16 or 18" barrel still makes some noise, but not much.
While shooting indoors is cool, I'm lucky enough to have a bullet trap in my back yard (unlimited caliber).
Previously, folks have refered to it as a red clay hill, but from now on, it's my "bullet trap".
So far, we've shot everything from .22s to 30-06s into it. Not only do my neighbors not complain, but they almost always show up and want to squeeze off a round or two.
Perfect neighborhood, mine. Poor, but not pitiful.
Sounds like my kind of neighborhood
Sadly around here we had a nice quiet area outside the city and some developer decided to slap a ton of cookie cutter new homes on tiny lots right across the road. So one side you have homes all built at the latest of the 60's and the smallest lot is half an acre and on the other side a bunch of brand new places with tiny little lots. Heck my shop is bigger than some of those houses.

I love mine and I'm on the look out for an M49R
Those CCI CB longs also happen to be the most accurate bullets I have shot through my rifle. I haven't tried the super colibri's yet.
