...so the imbecile in the Avalon also owes you an interior as I see it.
Got the cast/splint off today and got my 10 staples out. I have an ugly misshapen orange foot, for now. It is pretty ugly, and only vaguely foot shaped.
Then the doc starts moving it around after it's been immobilized for 11 days, I thought I was going to levitate for a second there. It's really stiff and tender.
The X-rays today show it is healing well and is still aligned properly.
In 3 weeks I can start to put 50% weight on it while wearing my aircast/boot.
Woot Woot!! That's got to feel good. I spent 6 months in a cast one time. Getting it off was like getting out of jail has got to feel. A shower without a garbage bag was a luxury.
Good luck with the PT. It's going to suck some, but don't slack off on it.
Not sure how I missed this, Moj. Too much work. Your spirits sound good. Now you have lots of time to do your computer stuff!

But who will tend the bees?
Oh, yah..I forgot. It's winter. ECM, what do bees do in the winter? I don't think I've ever even thought about it before!

Stay indoors?
Get well soon, ECM. And g'luck with the new project.
Well, today it's supposed to reach almost 70 degrees here in Raleigh, so I imagine they will be hard at work gathering the pollen from the goldenrod and the redbuds that are in bloom. It will be another hour or so before it will be warm enough for them to fly.
Just got the bill for my surgery. My foot is now my most valuable asset. $23,000.00, not counting Er services.

That's great. It was ~2 months before they let me put any weight on mine other than what was done in PT. And then I was so wobbly I had to use a cane for a while.
Now for the fun part. PT with nurse ratchet. Enjoy watching everyone else in the room getting massages and hooked to heaing gizmos while some sadist tries to rip your newly rebuilt leg apart.

My wife's was more like $30,000.00. Those titanium screws are probably rather expensive, and she left with nine of them.

Mojo's a bad ass. She'll be pogoing and doing backflips in a month. Chuck Norris walks behind her.
I popped my first wheelie in the chair today - totally by accident, of course.
Hal, I think when you make them use 8 screws you get an extra long time out.
