Snowmobiler attempts a high-altitude run on a mountain pass. All goes well until that last precious moment:

At first I was thinking "Wow, it's gonna take him a long time to climb back up to his snowmobile..." Turns out gravity is the law for those, too.

I'm not sure that trying to tackle the several hundred pound pointy thing that is tumbling down the mountain as you are tumbling down the mountain is the wisest plan.

We had a technician try to break that law yesterday. He put a "T-Jack" under the hitch of a 2011 Silverado on his hoist but forgot it was there when he "attempted" to put the vehicle down. It took the express path.

Wow- that guy is lucky to be alive. Note to self- don't try and stop 500ish pound object tumbling down icy mountain

That was not as bad as it first looks. He can walk and move both arms at the end of the film.

I saw that video last week and couldn't stop laughing, and made my wife watch it, too. Thank you GoPro!

New step in owners manual: If rider and vehicle become separated while climbing a hill or mountain, you will meet again at the bottom. Do not try to catch up with the vehicle, it will wait for you.

Any skiers in the crowd? "Learn to self arrest". From personal experience, when crashing a motorcycle, it is more comforting and less stressful if said motorcycle is tumbling wildly down the road in front of you rather than not knowing if you will be the warm squishy thing that breaks its fall.

I had my own Gravity is the Law episode today. Front of car on ramps to change the oil... back of car on jack stands to replace the brakes. Replace brakes... lower car... forgot to put car in gear... car rolls off ramp... into the garage door... with hatch open... much profanity...

Result: 2 broke hatch struts, bent hatch edges, 3 out of 4 broken garage door windows, major damage to the door (although I was able to get the door back working again and installed new windows).

So I'll be buying the g/f's garage a new door... oh yeah... did I mention this is an oversized 9'w x 8'h door?

This will end up being one VERY expensive oil change and brake job...

OUCH! Ever lose a piece down an intake manifold? That will expand you vocabulary exponentially.
