Amen. My F250 isn't far behind then the Dodge, except for the addtional PB/PS/turbo diesel/a touch shorter ECLB, and I can't even on a bad day park bad. I just hate the people who can't even park in the slanted in the direction of traffic flow spaces. After having to drive a 16' box truck for years and years, backing up into difficult parking spots became easy. Hell, backing up became easy. They don't teach anything in driver's ed anymore. Drive around, don't crash, and here are the answers to the test.

Even if driving a big truck, he could have pulled in, backed out, straightened up and pulled in again. Would have taken an extra 30 seconds and would not have semi-blocked in the MR2. Simple common courtesy.

I was a champion at parking. Then I got a crew cab Silverado. Not soo much now.

I wouldn't have done that, but I would look like an idiot while i pulled in and backed out about 4 times.

This for sure. I had a f350 CC dually and could park in that space but would just park somewhere else to just not be a dick. Also to make life easier.

I drove a 26 and a 32 foot box truck. I could parralle park them. Today, I generally choose a spot far enough out I can pull straight through and not have to worry about it

Dear truck guy,

Congratulations, you drive a land yacht. Please operate it like a grown up, or stop driving a land yacht.

Sincerely,
everyone else

...there is NO justification for parking that way, except for being a lazy feminine hygiene product, whose lack of common courtesy borders on record-setting. You can ALWAYS back up, straighten out, and pull in correctly.

If I can, I take this a step further and park so the curb would be on the passenger side if you pulled in but being über über rentative. Wherever I park, I insist on facing the sun (west in morning, east in evening) with my sunshade up.

This

I can keep a 35" bus and 20" trailer out of everyone's way, or a F700 pickup within a regular parking bay.

There is no reason for the F250 pathetic attempt, except laziness.

I saw a car parked at my hospital yesterday well over the line in a packed lot. Luckily I found another space nearby. So I drafted up a little note for the windshield that said- "Nice parking douchebag. You are the official shiny happy person of the day"

As I walked up to put the note on I saw that there were two women sitting in it, engine running, both of their faces buried in smartphones. Not only did she park like a dick, she proceeded to hang out that way while dozens of disabled people drove around looking for another spot. I had to settle for some loud obnoxious remarks as I walked by

The SHO wasn't there when he parked; it arrived just as I was taking the picture. The lot was essentially empty when I got there. I don't know whether anything was parked to the left of the truck when he showed up or not.

And this happened at a softball complex where I play. I'm going to be there again, and he probably will, too. Retribution would have been ill-advised, no matter how satisfying.

Also, I do subscribe to the Vincent Vega "You don't berkeley with a man's vehicle" philosophy. The truck can't help who drives it.

This cartoon reminds me of what I want to do when DBs park like the truck. I want to take yellow paint and paint lines on the truck where the truck overlaps them. So from over-head it'd look like the lines on the lot simply are on the truck/car.

What's the worst that can happen? One time the wife called and said "I think someone brushed up against the CRX backing out of its parking space." I asked which side, and she said the passenger side. The passenger side that has the front fender that's been crashed and hammered straight once, and the passenger side that has dings and scrapes here and there all down the side. So I said "how can you tell?"

Ditto.

I will intentionally stuff my MX6 into spots that are probably too small due to other morons not being able to park between the lines.

Around here, it's very often people in nice shiny cars that can't park.

I laugh everytime i see some Cadillac Black paint on my doors.

Beyond parking, i'll also play "Chicken" with the morons who stick their nose into traffic.

You may not know about this but, when you put black wheels and mud terrain tires on your jeep it allows you to be a complete cock gobbler. This includes saying "bro" and parking where ever the hell you feel like.
