Ok, let's play...

Name a great character from a movie or TV show who has never been seen.

Here's a few:

• Charlie Brown's teacher (who has also never been heard, though we know what she said).

• HAL, from "2001 a Space Odyssey"

• Honey, from "The Incredibles" (one of my favorites).

• Multiple characters on the other end of the phone, from Bob Newhart's standup comedy and TV show.

• Juanita Beasley, "The Andy Griffith Show" (Barney Fife's love interest)

Nope... Frasier's brother Niles slept witH Lilith, Frasier's ex-wife.

Maris never appeared on the show.

Carlton the doorman from Rhoda.

Fish's wife from 'Barney Miller' and Norm's wife from 'Cheers'. IIRC in each of those series there were episodes devoted to the characters where everything was shown except their faces.

EDIT: I goofed. Bernice (Fish's wife) was a recurring character. Norm's wife wasn't. And I forgot about 'Columbo's' wife.

She was referenced frequently, but not really a character on the show.
