I really need to start unplugging my keyboard the night I go out and celebrate! I couldn't contain my excitement after the game!

I would like to join your league if it's not to late.
Played around with a porsche 914 last night. Fun car with mods cranked up to a 600 PI. Stayed stuck pretty well. Needs moar boosts.
I am staying as far away from 914s as possible. I see them all day, the last thing I want to do is see them on my time away from work.

Nope, not too late. One season has ended (racerfink ran away with it), and the second season hasn't started yet.
+1 for joining. Ive started playing since my lil bros are out on summer vacation from high school. I want to keep em out of trouble. They think its hilarious when i race. We just started drifting for poops and giggles, while all the "pro" drifters are out there, we entered our Camaro...
I simply do not understand how to drift in this, or any other, video game.
I used to be pretty good at it on my PC with Need For Speed Underground, but on my 360, I can NOT do it. NFS Shift or Forza notwithstanding.
Count me in, I'm Blitzed306 on XBL.
I need people to race with badly, I'm so tired of noobs online that use me to slow down before a turn
Man, I may have to step away from WoW and iRacing for a few weeks and get back into Forza. I never did buy F3,and I also moved the XBox out of the movie room where the nice projection setup is. Guess I need to rethink that whole deal. Looks like I'm headed to Target for F3 and some component cables.

Was racing a little against Colonel Tommy last night. It just dawned on me this morning where I knew him from!
Seems to me we have some pretty good interest in this game going right now, so we should strike while the iron's hot!
Datsun 510's and Alfa Giulia Sprint GTA's maybe? And possibly add the 2002 when it comes out in DLC (although I'm pretty sure it's gonna be a tii).
yeah, I think for this round, we need to have multiple cars eligible for the "championship".
I am thinking Pre-75 sub 2.0 liter cars run at current european tracks. Vintage touring cars FTW!
Is the spec on the first page still the required build level? And are all the cars available to everyone, or will I have to unlock something before building my spec car?

Mostly just chasing racerfink. I'm definitely out of practice. The old 2.0 sounds interesting.
JG, the integra type R is in the basic car catalog. The ITR was cool, but time for a new spec.
In Reply to JG.
For the second season, I think we will be moving away from a spec series. Also, I am considering instituting "teams" with a constructors championship and a drivers championship.
So far, the list of cars for this spec looks like Datsun 510, Porsche 914/6, Lotus Elan Sprint, and Toyota 2000GT. Should I open it up to Sub 2.5 liter to include the Dino, Ferrari 250GTO, Lancia Stratos, Datsun Z, and Porsche Carrera RS?
Obviously there will be some form of performance balancing.
In other news, I'm thinking of running a StockCar race tonight, in honor of the Nationwide series being at Road America today, and Sprint Cup being at Infineon. Chevy, Dodge, and Ford Stock Cars, stock P.I., and Road America.
I'm not really fond of the Cup cars but Road America has a way of swaying my decision.
Let me know on the time and I'm game!
ditto on time, I'm visiting my Father this weekend..... that might be a problem but we shall see. I'd love to do a American Iron series, pre-95. stock power ect

I was about to say no Dino..but then I saw you let the RS in there. Carry on, sir! I'm only part-time anyway, right?
okay, I am going to be doing some testing on the baseline setups. We are going to run on a "world series" of pre 75 sub 2.5 liter cars. All the best tracks from around the world.
I have to figure out what the spec will be for a 510 to keep up with a Dino....
Someone give me suggestions for a test circuit that should provide repeatable laps, as well as indicative of all types of cars.
