I've put that event off for awhile now due to lack of car to race in it. Can you borrow cars to use in A-Spec events, or is it online only?
I'm pretty sure you can borrow it for whatever. The only way to share your car with others is by online, so I think that's why that option is for online but I think when someone borrows it you can do whatever to it.
First I used my Veyron and ZR1 MR to win the A-spec "Like the wind" races, which netted me the Minolta Toyota race car, which I then used to win the B-spec "Like the wind" races, which netted me the Toyota 7.
I can just loan the Toyota 7 though haha.
Anyone got any Spoon Honda's they may be willing to trade? I figure since i'm never gonna see the race cars or F1's that I want yet...
Toyota 7 is now shared so have fun with it (she's a beast).

I love my Stratos rally, the dang thing is so much better than the street version

The 7 is one of the few cars that I use traction control with. 670kg and 960hp....

Side by side racing note:
F40 and I had a pretty crazy practice race last night (monkey boy spun wildly early on, he was distracted) that involved a LOT of side by side racing. He would pass me on the hair pin near the end and I would blow by him on the straight. This didn't not work out well for him since the finish line was at the end of the straight.
Side by side is a LOT easier at night. I realized I could look to the side, and if I could see headlights, he was right next to me (which he always was at the hairpin). Other then that, the only way to know is to watch your rear view mirrors and assume they are next to you even thought you cannot see them. The game seems to be somewhat forgiving with minor taps (not throwing you out of control), so that helps.
I am sure this race would have been a lot different with the "typical" online crowd (probably would have been pushed into a wall in the first turn). I think we did pretty good. I did feel bad about cutting him off at some corners, but I really need all the road I can get with the Europa, it is pretty much in a constant state of spinning and you need to drive it accordingly.
He got his revenge though, he was clearly faster in the MX5 practice, I will need to work on that setup.

My GRM MX5 is MNP III. Yes, there are different versions of the R34 GTR MNP.

@aircooled, yeah you summed it up lol even if you did get me every time on the straight, I figured stay with you and be aggressive that way if you mess up I could take advantage That was crazy though, great fun!
RealMini- If you'd rather do that than that's fine but yeah the DC2 is one that I was mainly after.
