RealMiniDriver and I both run the A110. Mine is red-ish and his is purple. Now that he has my alignment settings he should be much faster too.

Oh, and whoever runs the room next week, just check the box for ABS OFF in the rules page for the MX-5 cup race and nobody can forget.
There isn't a abs disable option... it would seem obvious, but then again I don't develop video games.
We will be adding you extended finishing period though. That is a good idea, and I can't believe we haven't done it prior to now.

I am running ballast to get it up to legal weight, so I do fit the legal weight. I do kinda wish I could go back and change to a car that doesn't suck so much under braking, but where's the fun if i'm not on the edge of a catastrophic crash at all times?

I think we all feel that way about our SBC cars. I think it has more to do with light weight, 200 Hp and crappy tires than the particular car.
Try to make some of the races - someone needs to slow Nick down. Most of us can't catch him.

I know we can't switch cars, but what about repainting? Dave's dark red and my purple are hard for me to distinguish with my slight color blindness.
Repaint all you want... You can run a different color each race if you would like.
I've got a room up for some indy practice if anyone is up for it. I'm interested in seeing how being in a big drafting pack goes.
I haven't messed with the car at all for Indy. Need to revise my alignment and do some testing.
I did some laps in the Miata. Two regular people actually joined the room and we did some laps. One guy was driving a Toyota Celica, then a MINI, then a Pugeot. The other guy got with the program and was driving an NC Miata.
It was pretty much the same as driving around in circles by myself.
I did work on some SBC settings. There is time to be made/lost there for sure. Coming out of the pits before I get control the computer drives me into the grass. I guess I need to work on the setup a little better so when I get control I am not already two wheels in the grass heading for all 4.
Dang, shoulda saw this earlier haha yeah I did a few, and I was racing a guy with a Reanult Clio, pretty closely matched we were, it was some fun but the SBC is going to be different, I can't go one practice without getting her sideways at least once
Testing, testing, testing. I don't even know what a good ballpark time for SBC is going to be. The car seems alright but it's always on the ragged edge and I can never let off without nearly looping it.
Shared my Celica if anyone wants to give it a shot and give me some pointers.
In the practice area from the GT Life menu, you can choose single make and you can race in a pack of NC miatas. They all brake for the turns, but I played with them for a few laps practicing going from the back to the front through the traffic. Maybe I need to reconsider my low downforce setup - a little contact and things can get pretty squirrelly pretty fast.
I think SBC is going to be a surprise since all of the cars are so different.

If it's all wrong, then i'm surprised i was as fast as i was.
PS: My MX5 is set up almost identically, so maybe i should be more surprised that that thing was moving.

How bad is it, really? What's wrong with it?
The suspension, at least to me was the baddy, the thing is, even though I switched stuff around, it doesn't save it for you, you have to change it yourself. Like I said, tonight or whenever come into my lounge and we can sort it out
looks like I have some catching up to do. Just started last night with the online racing and had a great time. Only did the shuffle races, but that was fun. Now need to learn how to share cars and such.
