What speeds are you hitting at the end of the straight? I figure you and the Alpine crew will be way faster than me there. I can get through some of the twisty bits pretty well, but lack straightline speed.

I am not sure I remember correctly, but maybe 150? I know I am in 4th for the turn in to 17.

I'll try to stay out your way. I know I am topping out in the 120s.

I might be wrong, but the car is very fast down the straights, mostly due to being able to accelerate heavily out of the corners.

I believe the Europa is faster down the straight but has slower lap times then the MX5.

Hey i probobly won't make tonight either, and this thesis thing is really heating up so I might be out for the rest of the season. School comes first and all... I should really figure out a way to create another day in the week to get in my GT5 time... I would call it Shwednesday. All I need is some of that omnipotence...

Oh yeah, i raced my "Ghost" celica with my MX5 last night, and immediately got wasted on the straight. It was a serious "Oh heeeeelllllllllll naw!!!" moment.

Yea, even the Mini is faster in a straight line, but it doesn't stand a chance braking or turning.

Same here. Way slower lap times and way more effort involved than the MX5, but faster on the straights.

Haven't raced my ghost yet except in the same car.

Much to my disbelief, I was told by NickF40 that I have one of the better cars for the SBC. I wish I had good driving skills to bring out that car's full potential. Hopefully, I can get some good practice time in on that car before tonight's race at Grand Valley.

The 2002 should be a good choice. Although I think the Europa was the best car. I almost used it in the mega horsepower CM series.

still probobly won't be there but i ran a couple laps for fun in my ginetta (still set up for the oval) and got low 2:27's mostly, and a 2:26.842 for best. I can get up to 140's on the straight, 147 if I want to crash. Also i'm shocked at how long I've been able to race this track (since GT1) and I still don't have the line worked out!

I didn't even change my setup from the roundy-round race, it's a ball!

I haven't gotten below 2:26 yet for the SBC, but i hit 2:18 in the MX5. Game on!

Do any of the front runners NOT have a steering wheel and pedals? Can you use automatic trans. or must it be manual?

Retribution! I'll take 2nd place. Had a bad tank slapper that damaged the car and Aircooled snuck by me.

I use controller and I use auto only with a controller.
