I need to run more races.

The only modded hot hatches I have are the newer Fiat 500, a 78 Mirage, and a 79 Civic. And those last two didn't really count as hot hatches.

My best hatch I am not going to run in the series. My 07 Mini is setup just about perfectly... I don't want to ruin the was it drives by over powering it. It only has about 230HP, I think anything over 250 would spoil it.

So my current thoughts are a Focus RS, Audi A3, Swift or maybe the older Mini S (I think it is an 03).

I do not have a Mitsu Cyborg... I may need to borrow someone's to test for competition balancing.

I thought i had a Cyborg.... Guess not. Suppose i'll have to find one.

I'm kinda OK with the series being put on hold haha. 2 more weeks and I should be moved into my new place and ready to game again.

Having an interesting time trying out the Spoon CR-Z. surprisingly low weight, but there is one problem... The battery runs out after ~7 laps on Trial Mountain...

I have 2 built test cars for Hatch... Gotta go back and try them again as I did initial testing on race softs.. (go back for street softs)

Silly question.... would the Motul Mugen CR-X be legal? (guessing not as its a "race car")

spoon, mugen, ruf (ouch), hks, grand touring garage... Even Poly Digital cars...

The Spoon CR-Z dosent have an advantage, (other tested cars were faster) but I can understand in case there is another car that is a loophole.

What are the final rules we are going with?

Are we pretty much going with any production FWD hatchback, Boost as much power as you dare, no race mod, all the weight reduction, all other mods in "tuning section, and any sport tires?

I have been testing a good number of cars. (many more then 2 now) Need to get more cash and my next car to mod and test is the cyborg you guys have been talking about. (found it in used cars)

I hope we do go with maxed out because that's what I'm doing to mine inorder to test them.

Will V6s be allowed? I just tested the Alfa 147 GTA. It's heavy but has wider tires and feels good in stock form. I won't mod it until the rules have been spelled out. Also will 3 doors be a rule or does it matter?

I understand why people like the Cyborg. It handles great and doesn't burn the tires off as bad as some of the others. I can edge it out with a couple of other cars @ both Tsukuba and Grand Valley but it still might have a chance of winning because of the tire situation. Sure is easier to drive.

If we can't fully mod cars I have to pick something other than the Fiat 500. Anyone tuned the HGT Abarth?

By popular request, the only restriction for HH will be Sport Tires.

Also another point, I think we should run the race cars first. It is a pain to go from FWD to RWD.

Has it been firmly decided what the race car and its specs. will be?

we'll go with Z06s... No one made a compelling argument for another car.

So that's Z06 full race on race tires. Is there a specific year model? I have a full race one and a stock one. Don't know the year model of either or if it would make a difference. Probably would though. That should be fun because it's a very fast car and is driveable.

I still haven't had the Cyborg turn up in the Used Lot.

I'm not 100% committed to running it, but i'd want to test it against some of my other ideas.

Got my power back last night from last Wednesday's tornado extravaganza. I misses two pages of this thread and all the details of the new series. I'm in for whatever, but when it is decided please make sure there is some time to accumulate the cash. I spent all my money again right before PSN crashed. I think I was down to 10k or so. If we are racing 500k cars that I don't have I'll need some warning to grind out the prize money.

Like the wind at indy only takes a few minutes and rewards $70k, having the F1 car its a cakewalk. (or the minitola car as well)
