This is a follow-up to the GRM influencing your thoughts/speech thread. It turns out that GRM's filter words can make radio more amusing.
I was listening to NPR's Wait Wait, Don't Tell Me this morning, an intentionally humorous news/current events quiz show. The episode replayed many recent excerpts, including one with PJ O'Rourke. (If you click here and choose "playlist" it is at the end of the first segment.) I was already giggling because PJ is funny, but following it up with the R.E.M. music at the end made me laugh so hard I thought I would cry.
